Anytime Fitness - Didcot

We transformed a former Wilko store in the centre of Didcot into a modern, state-of-the-art Anytime Fitness gym facility. The existing retail unit was stripped back to shell before undergoing a complete refurbishment, creating a high-quality fitness environment that meets the client's operational requirements and brand standards.

The Challenge

A key challenge throughout the project was the lack of a permanent live power supply for approximately two-thirds of the construction programme. This created difficulties in maintaining productivity across multiple trades and coordinating ongoing works within the project timeline.

The Solution

To ensure the programme remained on track, we implemented a temporary power strategy by hiring several generators to support site operations throughout the affected period. This allowed construction activities to continue without significant disruption and enabled us to successfully deliver a comprehensive fit-out, including dry lining, ceilings, bespoke joinery, tape and jointing, decoration, ceramic tiling, bathroom cubicles, vanity stations, flooring, and brand-new mechanical and electrical installations.
